Un taxi invade la acera, atropella a tres personas y choca con un coche hiriendo a otras dos

Tres personas de entre 74 y 80 años han sido atropelladas en la calle Atocha de Madriddespués de que un taxi invadiera la acera por causas que la Policía investiga. Posteriormente, chocó contra otro vehículo en el que viajaban dos personas de 31 años. El Samurconsiguió sacar de una parada cardiorrespiratoria a una de las mujeres atropelladas, trasladada al Hospital 12 de Octubre.
Hacia las 20.00 horas de la tarde del domingo un taxista, por causas que se desconocen, se subió a la acera de la calle Atocha a la altura del número 41. El conductor, que asegura haber perdido la consciencia, recorrió 100 metros y atropelló a tres personas de entre 74 y 80 años que se encuentran muy graves.
Los servicios de emergencia sacaron a una mujer de 74 años de una parada cardiorrespiratoria, trasladada al Hospital 12 de Octubre. La segunda víctima es otra mujer de 75 años con un traumatismo craneoencefálico severo trasladada al Hospital Clínico. El tercer atropellado, un varón de 81 años, sufre politraumatismos y ha sido trasladado al Hospital de la Paz.
Al regresar a la calzada se estrelló contra otro coche con el resultado de dos heridos leves, ambos de 31 años. La Policía ha detenido al taxista e investiga las circunstancias del accidente.
Se trata del segundo atropello multitudinario en la capital después del producido el pasado martes en la Avenida de la Ilustración, donde dos personas fallecieron en un triple accidente.
